Training Council

The District board "formed" the Training Council in the early 2000's as a way to get all the District squads together to work as a team to provide District wide training opportunities.  Currently, the Training council is comprised of the Training Officers of each squad, who meet on the last Thursday of each month to continue forging ahead to providing the District with quality training opportunities.

Late 2006, the Training Council developed a yearly calendar that outlines the training opportunities for the whole year.  This could potentially have great advantages for providers having the ability to plan ahead to insure their CE or education requirements are met.  Several highlights of this calendar are:  2 EMT-B refreshers a year, 2 PEPP classes a year, 2 Testing dates, Quarterly training and a lot of other training topics.  New ideas are always welcomed, so please contact any member of the training council with your ideas.  The members of your District #12 Training Council are as follows:

SVMC EMS Coordinator Mike Lozito
Arlington Rescue Jill Maynard
Bennington Rescue Sabrina Joly
Deerfield Valley Rescue Bobby Maynard
East Dover Fire/Rescue Todd Perry
Manchester Rescue Cat McNamara
Pownal Rescue Katie Vandale
